I'm delighted to say that I will be documenting Minneapolis City Hall's newly restored Clock Tower for the Municipal Building Commission! First chiming in 1896, it was claimed to be, at 7 1/2 meters, the world's largest. Now with its time accurately controlled by satellite and subtly back-lit by LED's, it thoughtfully retains its rural/urban low-key sturdiness, letting all citizens know of Minneapolis's commitment to history and planning.
